Ill AGAIN

Like many other people that I know, I've been ill this last week. I've actually been ill a heck of a lot since last September which is very annoying, but I'm confident that this is going to be the last time that I'm ill for a very very long time!
Today I have to be well enough to go the Student Weekend for the afternoon, as they invited the youth because we've been discussing recently how the students and youth barely know each other at all. I wouldn't usually go as I have been quite ill, but I managed to persuade quite a few of the youth to go on the grounds that I was going so they wouldn't be the only ones. Therefore I don't really feel like I can just not go now!
I'm slightly worried that I'm getting behind on work as I've been laid up in bed these past two days, but I'm sure I'll manage to catch up soon. I've had a period drama fest actually, I've watched North and South and Wives and Daughters, which is far too much TV to watch, as I also sat in front of a 2-hour Foyle's War episode and Singin' in the Rain!
Umm... I'm trying to think what else has happened since I last posted. I stayed at Mim and Adam's last weekend, which was really fun. It was nice and relaxed, which I needed! We played Trivial Pursuit twice, and Mimi won both times, which wasn't so fun!
Oh, and it's my birthday in a week and a day! I'll be able to drive! Now is that scary or what??

Catch Up

OK, it's been quite a while since I posted on here! A lot has happened actually, but I'm afraid I could find neither the time or the inclination to post any of it. So suffice to say, my Christmas and New Year were both brilliant, and I am now back at Henry Box, once again working hard! I'm handing in my final draft of my English coursework essay tomorrow, which is slightly scary, but my teacher checked it over and told me he really liked it, so I'm hopeful (and praying hard)!
Tonight I am going to have to stay up until MIDNIGHT to watch the Lost finale. I am not happy! And the problem is, for everyoen who's about to shout 'just tape it', if I do tape it I will definitely hear what happens at school tomorrow. It's been hard enough avoiding the information gleaned from the people downloading the episodes off the net, so tomorrow everyone will be talking. I'm also babysitting tonight, so I might miss the start, but as it's two hours long I'm not too worried. I'll just whizz the telly back on as soon as I get home, and hopefully I won't have missed too much. I just hope I stay awake! Stupid Channel 4.
I have the most aggravating cold at the moment, basically I'm alright apart from the fact that I can't breathe, so if I go around all day with my mouth open looking like a goldfish I'm fine. Great remedy, hey?
It's hard to believe we've only just started the school term; it feels like I've been back an age! I think it's because I had an exausting weekend, so am already tired, and tonight isn't going to help on the tired front. Tomorrow night though, I think it's bed at seven for me!
