Back to Normality

Back to school today. I felt very bereft without my third week of Easter holidays! I thought we only got 2 weeks because of this new 6 term thing, but it turns out that Henry Box only ever have two weeks at Easter.
I have to say our teachers weren't very gracious to us today; out of 4 lessons 3 of them were essay ones. I also got given an essay in my English lesson, which I should be doing right now but cannot be bothered, and so shall probably end up doing at the weekend.
Ultimate Intention was really good and very fun, if practically sleepless. The main speaker was a guy called Brian who is starting up a church in Ibiza. Interesting place to choose! The last week I've spent in France with my family which was nice and relaxing.
I am also currently trying to finish the impossipuzzle which I stupidly started over the holidays. It's peppers and it's very hard! The choice this evening was either carry on with my puzzle or start my English essay, and somehow the essay just seemed to get sidelined...
Anyway, I hope everyone had a nice Easter, and I'll blog again soon! Well, at least I will if I remember ;)

Humdrum Holiday

Well I'm off tomorrow to Ultimate Intention for the weekend. It should be really good fun; I'm really looking forward to it.
The last few days have been unspectacular, just normal things happening. I have been trying and sometimes succeeding to work/revise. I went to Caffe Uno on Tuesday which was good. I really like the atmosphere there and it's not at all expensive - as I am a total cheapskate this is very important to me!
Yesterday afternoon I acquired a headache which would not disappear despite numerous paracetamols/ibuprofens. I slept very badly because of it, and woke early still with a thumping head. It hasn't gone all day and has been really painful; thankfully it has just started receeding so hopefully I shall be all better come tomorrow. Headaches really are very aggravating things, because it's not as if it's a proper illness and yet it completely incapacitates you. It's not fair!
I went down to the library today and got out Sense and Sensibility in German. I haven't started reading it yet but it should be challenge!
Anyway, that's all I have to say - have a nice weekend, everyone!

Worth a Listen

If anyone has any time, follow the link on the Happy Birthday post on Mark and Heidi's blog. I have to say I was in tears by the end of listening to that song. It's so awful to think of the thousands of people around you each day who are probably going through a similar thing. Also, school friends especially, I've been realising recently that it's really important for me to clarify my own perspective on 'issues' like this, because when people ask me about my Christian viewpoint I'm not always sure what to say. So think about it!
